My pda doesn't make a noise when I read a bar code or QR Code

If the PDA doesn't make any noise when using it to read bar codes or QR codes with it in the access control, check the information below.

Possible causes:

• The volume is not activated or very low.
• The reader is not working correctly.

Solutions:

• Restart the PDA.
• Switch on or turn up the volume on the PDA.
• Reinstall Powertools following the steps in this article: Installation Manual.
