In the configuration of an event we can add surcharges. These surcharges are the administration fees which are added to the final ticket price and are passed onto the end client.
There are different ways of adding these surcharges, choose the one that best suits your objectives:
1. Predetermined event administration fees
To configure a surcharge that affects a whole event, go to Prices > Fees > General ticket surcharges. You can configure the amount of the administration fee as a fixed surcharge, a percentage, a minimum and maximum surcharge, or even set a new price range.
You can also put limits on the surcharges or set different surcharges for invitations in the section Invitation surcharges.
Once the surcharge has been configured, go to the tab Channels > Fees and select the option Use the default surcharges of the event
To configure these surcharges we need to pre-configure them in the Cpanel start menu, selecting the name of our organization.
Once selected, click on the option Organizer Surcharges and configure the desired surcharge, as shown in the picture.
When the promoter fees are configured, go to Event Management > Events > Fees and select the option Import default fees.
2. Specific channel administration fees
This option lets you set surcharges for the sales channel different to those established by default for an event (previous point). For example, in the case of wanting to apply a surcharge for the organizer and a different surcharge for the sales channel
- Within the event and the channel that we need to configure, go to Channels > Fees, and select the option Define specific surcharges for the channel and add the surcharge in Fixed fees.
You can also put limits on the surcharges or set different surcharges for invitations in the section Invitation surcharges.
- It is also necessary to configure the administration fees at the sales request level (the channel itself configures this). See the manual Configure surcharges and agent commission.
The Surcharges section within the event and channel in question would look as follows:
Through the RRP Simulation, we can see how the administration fees are distributed and the final price the client pays
Different administration fees for tickets with discounts
First you need to tick the option “Set surcharges for tickets with discounts” or alternatively in the tab Channels > Fees (within the event), or even in the tab Procedure > Fees (within the sales request of the channel).
Finally you need to select the following options within the discount:
If you want to configure alternative fees for the channel, select the option Discount with alternative channel fees and surcharges in the discount Procedure section.
If you want to configure alternative fees for the organizer, select the option Discount with alternative promoter surcharges in the discount Procedure section.
