Types of promotions

Before registering a new promotion, please consider the type of promotion you want to set up. There are 2 types of promotion:

Automatic Promotion: The viewer or end customer will not have to select anything, it will appear automatically.

Manual Promotion: Requires the customer to validate the promotion before finalising the purchase with or without a discount code.

Plus (Discount): Allows the base price to be modified

Basic (Promotion): Does not allow the base price to be modified. 

It is also possible to add a Promotion based on a template if we create the template beforehand in Events > Promotion Templates

You must take into account that:

If the promotions are of the same type on the same channel and session they do not accumulate.

If the promotions are not of the same type on the same channel and session, they do accumulate.

An automatic promotion does accumulate if you activate it together with a manual promotion on the same seats, session, and channel.

Important information:

To prevent an automatic promotion from accumulating with other promotions in the same seats, it is possible to remove this restriction in the Limits and conditions section by checking the option Promotion not combinable with other promotions.
