Gift Card

With cPanel, you will be able to configure and redeem gift cards in your events in a very simple way by following the following steps.

The first step is to log in with your username and password in the new cPanel:

How to set up the Gift Card?

First you must go to Channels> Vouchers, and there you must create a new grouping of codes and configure it.

You have to create it as a Gift Card.

Fill in the fields for general data, code redemption (here you must select the channels where you can exchange them for tickets), gift card (which is what will be sent to the person to whom you are giving the gift) and communication.

In the code list section, the codes will appear as they are purchased and there will be a record of their use and movements. You can download this list from here:

Then you must configure in the channel the possibility of paying with vouchers. In Channels> My Channels> Configuration> Payment Methods, you must check the Allow vouchers to be redeemed checkboxes:

You must allow redeeming the vouchers on the channel and/or as appropriate, allow the return of the tickets in vouchers.

How to purchase the Gift Card?

To purchase the gift card you will find it at the top of the channel where it has been configured.

When making the purchase you have to enter the desired amount, if you want it for you or for someone else.

The buyer or the person you want to send it to will receive an email like this (the texts can be personalised as we have seen before)

How to redeem the Gift Card ?

When using it, a last step will appear with the payment methods and this is where the code must be entered and it will tell us the balance we have to spend.

Reports

On the one hand, we have the report in Sales> Gift Card, of the purchases made with it.

On the other hand, in those referring to the events redeemed, we will see it both in the reports and in the list of tickets or operations in the column 'payment method' as 'Voucher'.

As we have mentioned before in Channels> vouchers, in the three dots, you can export the list of the generated codes and their uses.
